This event is part of the International Open Data Day initiative, which helps to promote the concept of open data and information transparency in the activities of public authorities, businesses, non-profit organizations, and other participants. The events are held all over the world. In Armenia, this event is organized by the Open Data Armenia Project Team.

The event may be of interest for developers, data researchers and analysts, digital humanities specialists, data journalists, and other engaged specialists and students.
